Foundation Scholarship Application

General Foundation Scholarship information:

This application considers you for any one of the approximate 200 scholarships available through the Missouri Southern State University Foundation Scholarship Program.

How to apply:

  1. Must apply or have applied for admission to MSSU.
  2. Must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  3. Transfer students must have academic transcripts on file with Registrar’s Office.

Performance/Departmental scholarships may be combined with a Foundation Scholarship - however the combined awards may not exceed direct institutional costs.
Generally, Foundation scholarship criteria requires the student be enrolled full-time and maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Other criteria may be applicable as designated by the donor.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to non-merit factors: race, sex, creed, or disability.

Private donors offer numerous scholarships with a variety of criteria. The questions asked within this application help us determine which criterion best suits the student and donor scholarship.

Applications must be received by December 15 of each year for priority consideration.
