MSSU cares about its students and takes steps to attend to students needing assistance. Lion Alert is an early intervention referral system connecting students dealing with academic, emotional, mental health, or other personal difficulties, with university resources that can positively support students. Information submitted through the Lion Alert referral system is treated with confidentiality, and only shared with appropriate campus professionals with a need to know and who are able to assist the student.
