Contract for Tutoring
Read the following information and then use your SID and PIN to verify understanding and acceptance of polices in order to receive tutoring services. Fields marked with * are required.

Policies and Guidelines
Student:

Takes a proactive approach to tutoring by:
  • Being on time for tutoring appointments. Tutoring sessions are 50 minutes long and begin from the scheduled start time of the session.
  • Coming prepared to the session. You should attempt as much of the assignment as possible.
  • Bringing all course materials needed to work with the tutor.
  • Honestly sharing how things are going in class. Also, letting the tutor know when you don't understand him or her.
  • Talking with the Tutor Coordinator, Lori Owen, if you are dissatisfied with your tutor. 625-9558. Other arrangements can usually be made.
  • Completing an evaluation of your tutoring experience during the semester.
  • Calling ahead of time to cancel a tutoring appointment Student Success Center 659-3725
Excessive cancellations will cause you to be dropped from the program. An absence WITHOUT NOTIFICATION will cause you to be dropped!

  • You are required to be on time for tutoring appointments. If unable to attend a tutoring session, please contact the Student Success Center (659-3275) in advance.
     
  • ONE MISSED APPOINTMENT WITHOUT NOTIFICATION will cause you to be dropped from the program.
