General Foundation Scholarship information:
Academic and Performance/Departmental scholarships may be combined with a Foundation Scholarship.
This application considers you for any one of the approximate 300 scholarships available through the Missouri Southern State University Foundation Scholarship Program.
How to apply:
- Must apply or have applied for admission to MSSU.
- Must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Transfer students must have academic transcripts on file with Registrar’s Office.
Performance/Departmental scholarships may be combined with a Foundation Scholarship - however the combined awards may not exceed direct institutional costs.
Generally, Foundation scholarship criteria requires the student be enrolled full-time and maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Other criteria may be applicable as designated by the donor.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to non-merit factors: race, sex, creed, or disability.
Private donors offer numerous scholarships with a variety of criteria. The questions asked within this application help us determine which criterion best suits the student and donor scholarship.
Applications must be received by March 1 of each year for priority consideration.
