2013 Summer Financial Aid Request
Summer aid is usually limited to unused aid eligibility from the fall and spring semesters.
A minimum of 6 hours of enrollment is required to receive a student loan.
Intersession classes cannot be combined with summer enrollment for financial aid purposes.
If a Pell Grant eligible student was enrolled part-time during the fall and/or spring semesters, unused Pell funds may be available in the summer semester.
A minimum of 3 hours of enrollment is required.
Students must continue to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress standards to maintain eligibility for financial aid. Dropping or failing a class while on aid could mean Financial Aid Suspension for future terms.
The Financial Aid Office will determine eligibility for federal grants and loans for the summer term. Please use LioNet to accept/reduce/decline your aid offers.
If you expect to receive federal work-study funding for summer, please make an appointment with Tonya Nickle
studentemployment@mssu.edu
or 417.625.9398 to
discuss your eligibility.
